2022: Looking Back and Paying Forward

miscellaneous year-in review Dec 22, 2022

Introduction

Can you believe it? Time flies so fast as the end of 2022 is nearing. This year was truly amazing, which I can still consider an understatement, because of you guys! The growth of JazzGuitarLessons.net has been incredible, and a lot has happened since the beginning of JGL which was 13 years ago. This year is a year of gratitude from us to you for being part of your jazz guitar journey.

Here are some of the highlights from JazzGuitarLessons.net as we celebrate the end of 2022.

Youtube Video Lessons

As usual, we have put more and more videos and lessons on our YouTube channel which have been greatly appreciated by you guys. In the last 12 months, the team and I continuously put out weekly lessons complete with the tabs and graphics needed to improve the quality of the presentation for you to enjoy.

In the month of July, we started to upload YouTube #shorts that contain small nuggets of jazz guitar knowledge and lessons which can be easily watched.

You can check out our youtube channel here and make sure to subscribe! :)

Blogs

Over the past years, we have created a library of a good number of blog posts, lessons, and reading materials, which are of course, all available for free.

The team continued to produce new and insightful blog posts and content where you can learn, practice, and meditate on them.

Feel free to go through the blogs here: https://www.jazzguitarlessons.net/blog

Design

In October, we revamped our graphics for our social media, switching to a cleaner black theme similar to how our YouTube lessons look. Feel free to let us know which looks better: the old one or the new one?

Accelerator Program 2.0

This year, JGL decided to focus more on my coaching, the Jazz Guitar Accelerator program, to accommodate and extensively help more students to grow and learn faster with my help.

This year has been incredible for the Accelerator program seeing as how the community grew with each member showing great progress in their playing. The members were nothing short of supportive of each other, which continues to inspire and remind me of the reason why I have started this path.

If you are interested in joining the exclusive coaching program, book a call with yours truly: https://nextlevel.jazzguitarlessons.net/

What’s next?

Surely, this year has been a blast! We learned new things, made new friends, and shared experiences with a lot of people. The team and I hope that you have enjoyed our content as much as we did making them for you.

So, what’s cooking for next year? With dedication and hard work, we strive and continue to improve the experience and quality of learning for all the students and viewers.

For our members, lots will be coming! We are continuously building more lesson materials, a better platform, and more support from us to you in the future. So, if you're still not a member, what are you waiting for? Improve your jazz guitar playing with a real teacher, and bring out the best in you!

Learn more about the member's experiences here: http://www.jazzguitarlessons.net/reviews

You can expect more free content such as video lessons, and nuggets of information from #shorts and blog posts! Take note that all of your feedback and suggestions are being heard, and we will do our utmost to deliver.

So what about you? How was your jazz guitar journey this year? Feel free to let us know in the comments, or even better, shoot us a mail! :)

I've said this many times, but I'm really grateful for what we have come to be, because of all of you guys. Going forward in the year 2023, I hope that we can continue to come together through the music that we love and continue to be part of your learning experience. Thanks for reading all this way... Cheers to the upcoming year!
