TYPO for 6-2 in "Positions PART II" Article?

by Larry
(Burlington, NC)

In the first lesson on scales, there is a different fingering for 6-2 when played going from G to G (positions part 2) as when played from G to A (positions Part 3).

Is that intentional or is it a typo?

Thank you.

Hello Larry,

There's, indeed, a mistake on the "Positions Part II" article. The "C" note should be played like it is written in the Part III article (on the third string!)

Thanks for noticing,

Thanks Marc. That makes so much more sense and the way I have been fingering that position for a zillion years. Thought I was missing something. Thanks again.
