We've all been through some comical or tragic events at gigs or rehearsals. Now's the time to discuss them...
For me, the most memorable one is a student concert. It was a big band thing and the power went out. No more electricity (and no more lights). So the band kept playing... and I realized I was the only electric instrument on the bandstand! (-:
The teacher (director) of this big band then talked to the crowd : "You know, the students kept playing in the dark because we teach them how to read music in Braille ! "
So, what happened to you? Did an unexpected super-star guest walked in? Or did you realize your piano player friend is also an heavy jazz drummer? Let us know!
