Improvise For Real

Hello,
I recently collaborated on a book that I think some of you might enjoy
very much. It's called "Improvise for Real," and I created the
illustrations (over 250 of them!). The book is directed to musicians of
all instruments, and it is especially applicable to the guitar since the
author is a guitarist.
The purpose of the book is to teach anyone how to enter and explore the
world of harmony through improvisation itself. So if you are looking for
"jazz licks" and phrases that you can use in your solos, this isn't the
book for you. But if you are looking for a method that will give you a
deep understanding of harmony, the ability to play by ear, compose, etc.,
I think you will like this book a lot.
You can find a more complete description at this web page:

We encourage anybody who already has the book to write a review and share
their opinions! Until now the feedback we have received has been very
positive, and we are hoping more people will find out about the book.
