Sorry forgot to mention Kenny Burrell, he is just a bluesy jazz player, his sound is very warm and has plenty of great records that should include him on the list.

Yes indeed. I've been checking out "Kenny Burrel with John Coltrane". It's a great album, I learned Burrel's solo on the first track a while ago. Delicious!
