All the Things You Are

Hey i'm playing through All the Things You Are and was wondering what do i play or what are my options over the C+7 on Bar 24. Also what are my options over Bdim7 on bar 32.

Hello

For the C7 : an altered dominant of some sort. I like to use the C7(b13, b9) scale, which is the same notes as F harmonic minor. (aka "Harmonic Minor of Destination")

For the Bdim : you have to treat is as a passing diminished chord. The plain arpeggio B-D-F-Ab and the diminished scale are great places to start in order to create meaningful melodies.
